Mental health and substance abuse services
It is now easier for young people to get help and treatment with mental health and substance abuse concerns in Jyväskylä. Young people themselves or their relations can contact the service directly and no referrals are required. For example, loneliness, bullying and knots in family and friend relationships can be causing concerns. There may also be concerns about the use of intoxicants, gambling, lack of study or work placements or any other factor affecting everyday life.

Our services are meant for young people from 13 to 22 years old and their relatives, when there is reason for concern about
- intoxicants
- mental state and anxiety
- gambling
- sexual issues
- family crisis situations
- conflicts between young people and parents
- friendship and dating relationships
A young person can get in contact with the reception by themselves or with others, or under the guidance of other professionals.
