Jyväskylä will present itself to future applicants at the Studia fair in Helsinki on Tuesday 26.11. and Wednesday 27.11.

The Jyväskylä joint section includes the University of Jyväskylä and Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences. Humak University of Applied Sciences will also have its own stand at the event.

Jyväskylä and its letters on show

The Jyväskylä section will have around 30 current students and just over 10 employee representatives as rapporteurs. In addition to presenting fields of study and training options, they will market Jyväskylä as a place to study.

The attention-grabbing feature of the department is the Jyväskylä letters placed on top of the arch structure, which are a miniature model of the Jyväskylä letters of the port.

Finland's biggest study and career event

Studia is Finland's largest study and career event for upper secondary school, secondary school and adult students. The event is held annually and showcases, among other things, education options and different routes to higher education. The event features career stories, talks on experiences and presentations on educational institutions.

Last year, almost 13 400 visitors came to the Studia. Around 40% of them were high school graduates, 24% were guidance counsellors and 15% were upper secondary school students. The rest were teachers or other students. This year, 138 exhibitors have signed up.

In addition to Finnish universities, higher education institutions and several universities of applied sciences, Studia also showcases lifelong learning and training opportunities to update your skills. This year marks the 32nd edition of the fair. The event is being organised in cooperation with the Union of Upper Secondary School Students in Finland.
