The city libraries are closed as a measure to prevent the spread of the corona virus. The closure lasts until 13.4.

The closure also includes self-service libraries, library busses and self-service returns.

No delay fees are given during the closure.

E-Library is available even during the closing.

For example PressReader provides access to 5000 newspapers from 100 countries and in 60 languages. Keski-Libraries also provides access to E-books that can be loaned with a library card and a pin code. If you do not have a pin code, you can get one online or by calling the main library (phone lines open until further notice Mon-Fri, 9-16). To browse the e-book collection, no sign-in is required.

You can browse e-library’s collections at https://www.keskikirjastot.fi/en_GB/web/arena/e-kirjasto.
